UPDATE: Thank you for your interest in my profile. I am pleased to inform that I have committed to play NCAA D1 golf at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. I hope to see you out on the courses as I continue my development!
I am a Swedish - American citizen who has grown up in Malmö, southern Sweden. After completing compulsory school in Sweden I applied to and was accepted at Northfield Mount Hermon school in Massachusetts. I really enjoy the academics, especially science. In 11th grade I studied, among other subjects, Honors Chemistry and Honors French 3 as part of my curriculum. I earned a place on the Varsity Golf Team and played JV Ice hockey in the 2019 - 2020 academic year.
Academic year 2020 - 2021 I played Varsity Ice Hockey and was named Captain for the Varsity Golf team. I was also nominated by faculty and accepted to be a Resident Leader for academic year 2021 - 2022. The Resident Leader works together with dorm faculty to support students residing in the dorms in many different ways and to ensure that all students are seen and well taken care of.
During the winter break 2020 - 2021 I worked as a ski instructor at Ski Butternut in Great Barrington, MA. I taught both group and private lessons for young skiers of different levels. I really enjoyed working with these young persons as I had to adapt and use different techniques to both teach them to ski. I also learned how to handle unexpected situations, ensure my students' safety and be an ambassador for the mountain.
I started playing golf when I was seven years old and absolutely love it. My current home club is Bokskogens GK which has two 18 hole courses (The Old Course and The King's Course), ranked among the best golf courses in Sweden and host to both national and international competitions.
I aspire to work with something related to golf when I graduate from College. I really hope to develop enough to become a professional tour player.
I enjoy cooking, playing chess with my grandfather, skiing, ice hockey (of course) and hanging out with friends.

Additional Information
Why I Want To Play College Golf
I love playing golf and competing. To have the opportunity to play for my college team while completing my studies would be the best of all worlds. I hope to continue to develop as a player and college golf would be the next step. I do know that there is a "life after golf" as my mom always says, so I understand that I need a great education also. I hope to have a career as a pro and after that be able to continue to contribute to golfing in one way or another.Intended Major: Business Administration
